We’ve partnered with ZoomDoc to make it easier for you to see a doctor when you need to.
At Well, we’re committed to making it as easy as possible to look after your health and wellbeing. That’s why we’ve partnered with ZoomDoc, so you can speak to a UK based doctor when you need to.
We understand that sometimes you need to speak to a doctor quickly and don’t want to wait to speak to your own GP. Through the ZoomDoc app, you can speak to a UK based doctor at any time of day or night, at work or at home. Private consultations are available over the phone or via video call.
1. Download the ZoomDoc app via the App Store or Google Play and create an account.
2. Submit a request for an appointment, and a doctor will call you back to advise on the most suitable consultation for you.
3. The doctor will either ring or video call you as soon as they’re available.
4. During your consultation, the doctor may provide a private prescription and/or a fit note and will get in touch after your appointment to see how you’re doing.
|Private telephone consultation||From £35|
|Private video consultation||From £35|
|Private in person consultation||From £125|
|Medicine||To be paid at the pharmacy - varies by medicine, location and the amount prescribed|
This is a private service and therefore you will not receive an NHS prescription.
Use code GET5 to get £5 off your first consultation.
If the doctor decides you require a prescription, a private prescription will be written. This will be issued free of charge and sent to your chosen pharmacy*. You should contact your chosen pharmacy to confirm the best time to collect your medication.
The doctor will write your prescription for free however you will need to pay the cost of the medicine when you collect it from the pharmacy. As medicine prices vary, you may wish to confirm the price in advance.
*Well Pharmacy can only supply medication against a signed hard copy (paper) private prescription though we are working with ZoomDoc to be able to receive private prescriptions electronically.
