24/7 prescription pick-up

Available 24 hours a day, our prescription pick-up service means you can collect your prescription at a time that suits you.

How it works

  1. Order your prescriptions as normal

    If we already order prescriptions for you, this will stay the same.
  2. We'll send you a text message
    When your prescription is in the pick-up machine we'll text you with a unique number.
  3. Go to the pick-up machine
 to collect
    At a time that suits you, go to the pick-up machine and enter the number. 
If you pay for your prescriptions then you need to pay by debit or credit card; the machine does not accept cash. Once you've paid, the machine will dispense your medicines.

Not everyone will be able to use our 24/7 pick-up service. We cannot put your prescription into the machine if it contains:

  • items that need to be kept in a fridge
  • controlled medications, for example, morphine
  • large or bulky items, for example, dressings

Even if you can't use the 24/7 pick-up machine to collect your prescription, we can still text you to let you know when your prescription is ready to collect if you sign up to our text notification service.

To sign up, tell your pharmacy you'd like to use the pick-up machine. They'll check your medication is suitable, and that we have up-to-date contact information for you.

Things to note

It's really important you provide the pharmacy team with up-to-date contact details.

We may occasionally need to get in touch with you to ensure your medication is safe and appropriate for you, especially with medicines you've not had before.

If you think you're going to run out of your medication and have not had a text message, please contact the pharmacy. While the 24/7 pick-up machine can be used at all times, our store team is only available during store opening hours.
